GCC billet prices stable, enquiries increase
Billet volume enquiries have increased in the Gulf Cooperation Council but are yet to be reflected in prices. Values are mostly stable, although Iran-origin September-delivery billet quotes have slid to $490-495/tonne from an August-delivery price of $505-510/t, both delivered to buyer's yard in United Arab Emirates or Oman, notes Kallanish.
