Gazprombank files claims against Mechel debt
The Moscow Arbitration Court has registered two claims by Gazprombank against Russian miner and steel producer Mechel and Mechel-Steel Management Company.
In one of them, a claim is made for the recovery of more than RUB 11.9 billion ($149 million), while the subject of the second is not yet indicated in the file of arbitration cases. Gazprombank is one of Mechel's largest creditors, along with VTB Bank.
Mechel did not reply to Kallanish request for comment …
