Gas leak kills ten at Shandong stainless plant
A gas leak at Shandong Fukai Stainless Steel in eastern China’s Shandong province has killed at least ten people. The plant has steelmaking and rolling capacity and specialises in seamless pipes. It recently commissioned a hot rolling mill capable of producing pipe up to 300mm in diameter, Kallanish notes.
