Gaoyi Steel puts hot rolling mill into production
Shanxi Gaoyi Steel in China put its new hot rolling mill into official production on 26 February, Kallanish notes.
Work on the project began in August 2021 with total investment of CNY 550 million ($87m). It has now reached a capacity of 1.5 million tonnes/year of hot rolled strip in a width of mainly 300-600mm.
