Gansu Jinchangyuan starts coke oven construction
Jinchangyuan Coal in Zhangye city of northwest China's Gansu province started construction of a reheating tamping coking project last week.
The project is under construction by MCC2, and includes two 52-oven coke batteries with carbonization chamber height of 6.25 meters. It is designed to produce 1.2 million tonnes/year of coke, and it will also have a 200,000 t/y coke oven gas-to-methanol plant, Kallanish notes.
