Gallardo Balboa considers restarting idled rebar mill: sources
Spanish steelmaker Gallardo Balboa group is considering restarting production at its EAF-based rebar mill Corrugados Azpeitia located in the north of the country, according to sources in the market.
The plant, with an installed capacity of 1 million tonnes/year of finished products, was closed by the group in 2013 due to the long-standing crisis in the Spanish construction sector.
