Fushun Special Steel to improve output in 2017
Fushun Special Steel, a subsidiary of the heavily-indebted Dongbei Special Steel, posted CNY 111.24 million ($16.16m) in net profits attributable to shareholders in 2016, down by -43.46% year-on-year. This year Fushun Special is investing CNY 200m into high-end special steel material development, despite over-investment being the main reason for Dongbei Special's debt crisis, Kallanish notes.
