Fujian Tsingtuo operates new EAF
Fujian Tsingtuo on Wednesday successfully commissioned the first phase of its stainless steel plant in Wanwu Industrial Park, Fu’an City in southeast China. The plant has now seen the first production, Kallanish notes.
The new 120-tonne electric arc furnace has the ability to produce 900,000 tonnes/year of molten stainless steel. It is equipped with two 120t AOD furnaces, two 100t VOD furnaces and a two-strand slab caster.
