Fujian Tsingtuo begins first-phase construction
Fujian Tsingtuo New Material has commenced construction of the first phase of its stainless steel project in Shawan, Fu’an City, Kallanish learns from the contractor, China MCC20 Group.
Phase I will mainly house one 120-tonne electric arc furnace, two 100t AOD, two VOD and two ladle furnaces, as well as one slab caster. Fujian Rongxing Special Steel will eliminate two 60t EAFs for the project’s 900,000 tonnes/year of stainless steel slab capacity.
