Fujian Sanbao commissions new electric arc furnace
Fujian-based Sanbao Steel held an ignition ceremony on Monday for its new No.1 105-tonne electric arc furnace, indicating the official start of operation of the facility, Kallanish notes.
The Tenova-supplied Consteel EAF is equipped with a 105t ladle furnace and a billet caster, with 787,500 tonnes/year of steel capacity.
