Fujian Hongwang files for polished plate project
China’s Fujian Hongwang Company has applied to Fu’an Industry & Information Department for a new stainless steel polished plate project, with a design capacity of 100,000 tonnes/year, Kallanish notes.
The company plans to purchase two annealing furnaces to carry out deep processing of plate supplied by its two existing rolling mills. The plant is barely using 40% of its 500,000 t/y design capacity.
