Fujian Gesheng Stainless Steel Water Pipe, named after its founder, has started construction of the first phase of its stainless steel water pipe project, Kallanish notes.

The first phase of the project will take 40% of the total investment of CNY 500 million ($74m) and occupies an area of some 8 acres. It is expected to start trial production after the Spring Festival in 2022.

After the project reaches full capacity, 60 fully automatic production lines will be in operation, with an annual output of 15,000 tonnes of stainless steel water pipe, and sales revenue of CNY 200m.

Since it landed in 2019, the venture has been regarded as a key project by the three-level governments of Fujian Province, Quanzhou City and Nan'an County-level City.
