Fujian Fuxin stainless CRC plant delays commissioning
Fuxin Steel’s cold rolled stainless project will begin production in late March 2021, after being delayed from end-2020, Kallanish notes.
The plant, in Fujian province's Zhangzhou city, includes one cold rolling line with a 400,000 tonnes/year capacity and VOD furnaces (see Kallanish passim). After commissioning, the company could operate 720,000 t/y of crude steel, 2.5 million t/y hot rolling and 400,000 t/y cold rolling capacity.
