Fujian's Dingsheng plans new blast furnace
Fujian province’s Dingsheng Iron & Steel plans to acquire iron quota from Henan’s Yaxin Iron & Steel for a new blast furnace, Kallanish notes.
The quota is from one 630-cubic-metre blast furnace at Yaxin, with 730,000 tonnes/year capacity. Dingsheng Iron & Steel plans to integrate the quota with the capacity of another 630m³ BF from Baotou in Inner Mongolia. The capacity of the new furnace has not yet been specified by the governm…
