Friedman sees coil, tube sales increase
US coil processor and welded tube producer Friedman Industries saw an uptick in both of its business segments due to both higher volume and higher selling prices in its fiscal third quarter, Kallanish reports.
Friedman earned $664,773 in the quarter ended 31 December on sales of $43.3 million, up from earnings of $161,271 on sales of $28m in fiscal Q3 2017.
Coil segment sales increased from $22.4m to $28.7m, while tubular sales increased from $5.6m to $14.6m.…
