Friedman records third quarter loss
US pipemaker and sheet processor Friedman Industries exited its fiscal third quarter with a loss, Kallanish reports.
In the quarter ended December 31, Friedman posted a net loss of $236,625 on sales of $15.99 million. In fiscal Q3 2015, Friedman posted a net profit of $485,120 on sales of $18.55m.
In a filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, Friedman attributes the loss to a dip in both tons sold and average selling price/ton.
