Fresh EU deal confirms Turkish scrap trend reversal
The recent upward trend in Turkish scrap prices has officially reached an end on a fresh EU-origin scrap deal.
A Mamara mill is confirmed to have bought an EU-origin cargo comprising 20,000 tonnes of HMS 1&2 80:20 at $365/tonne, 10,000t of shredded at $385/t and 10,000t of bonus grade at $385/t cfr Turkey.
