French tube demand struggles with high stocks
French seamless and welded tube demand remains low as discounts are soaring and prices for some products keep losing value, distribution sources tell Kallanish.
“In Europe downstream activity is very slow and demand is not really picking up as it happened for other products,” a source comments. “Seamless tubes lost €100/tonne since the lockdown and welded tubes lost a little less, but discounts are high and I believe will keep hiking.”…
