French steel output tumbles again
French crude steel production plunged again year-on-year in June after a strong decline in March, April and May, Kallanish learns from data released by the Federation Française de l’Acier (FFA).
Crude steel output declined by as much as -34.9% y-o-y in June to 837,000 tonnes. This is down from 1,285,000t in June 2019, the association says.
