French stainless scrap prices increase
Stainless steel scrap prices in France are increasing by €50/tonne ($59) and more versus last month, depending on grade. This is due to costly raw materials.
Market participants tell Kallanish they see improved demand from local and export buyers but material availability is limited and scrap collection, particularly for grade 316, remains low.
