French stainless scrap seen not recovering before September
Stainless scrap prices in France are slightly ticking up compared to last month, Kallanish learns from merchants in the sector. This is due to fluctuations in nickel prices.
Demand, however, remains extremely weak and sales volumes are alarmingly poor this month. As demand for stainless scrap has been disappointing over recent months, local merchants are concentrating on selling ferrous scrap and on other types of recycling activities.
