French stainless scrap prices hike, demand remains low
Stainless steel scrap prices in France are increasing by €100/tonne ($108/t) month-on-month, Kallanish learns from merchants in the sector. This is due to fluctuations in nickel prices.
However, demand is “… very poor” and sales of finished products are picking up very slowly as France only came out of lockdown on 11 May.
