French scrap increases again but peak likely reached
French scrap prices are increasing again this month, by €45/tonne ($87-97) month-on-month on average. Like last month, steelmakers are demanding material because of strong demand for their finished products. However, in a sudden turn of events, values across Europe seem to have stopped increasing.
