French scrap prices flatten
French scrap values are flattening in October. Initial price decrease forecasts were denied last week by a trend change in international scrap markets such as Turkey where contracts have started to climb. In line with Germany, French scrap prices remained stable in October. This is expected to have a positive effect on domestic long products values, also seen increasing in the next days.
