French scrap market anticipates increase
French scrap prices are seen increasing in the coming weeks. Merchants are beginning to quote higher values, in some cases €10/tonne ($12) increases, in the few spot transactions occurring.
A price trend, however, will be clearer at the beginning of next month as large French scrap contracts are agreed at the beginning of each month, market participants tell Kallanish.
