French scrap increases again

Scrap prices in France are gaining a further €10/tonne ($11/t), depending on grade, in January compared to December, sources in the sector tell Kallanish. This is the second uptick in quick succession as mills already agreed at the beginning of January to pay €10/t more on-month. The total month-on-month increase is therefore €20/t.
