French scrap prices rise
Scrap prices in France are gaining €20/tonne ($22/t) depending on grade compared to October, sources in the industry tell Kallanish. This is in line with increasing prices seen in Italy, Spain and Turkey.
Demand for material is now recovering from the low point seen in October. Prices are also expected to increase further towards the end of the month as mills are in the process of replenishing their stocks.
