French rebar prices remain stable amid no imports
French rebar demand is slightly livelier compared to November despite the general wait-and-see attitude adopted by distributors. Some buyers are restocking for January deliveries, but sales volumes remain contained, distribution sources say.
The expected increases for rebar have not yet happened and prices are stable since the end of November. Domestic contracts remain at €480/tonne ($542/t) ex-works but some sellers are beginning to ask for €500-510/t. …
