French rebar flattens as market slowly wakes up
After a very quiet May, activity is slowly coming back for the French steel sector as all companies have now reopened and workers have come out of the furlough scheme, local sources tell Kallanish. Despite the end of the lockdown on 11 May, the market remained silent with little sales volume and some large distributors still closed.
After a failed price increase attempt last month, levels for domestic rebar remain stable compared to May at pre-lockdown levels…
