French rebar prices fall
French rebar prices are falling by €15/tonne ($16/t) compared to the beginning of September, local sources tell Kallanish. Ferrous scrap values meanwhile are falling on the same comparison.
Domestic rebar prices have fallen from €240/t base delivered to €220-225/t base delivered on average. Including an average €260/t for size extras, transaction prices are hovering at €480-490/t delivered, sources suggest
