French rebar prices fall as February begins
French rebar prices have fallen month-on-month as a consequence of declining scrap values in the country, local sources tell Kallanish.
Prices have lowered by €10-20/tonne ($11-22/t) with domestic rebar prices now at €200-210/t base delivered. Including an average €260/t for size extras, transaction prices this month are hovering at an average of €470-480/t delivered, depending on point of delivery, sources say.
