French rebar demand, prices weaken
French rebar values are stable compared to last week but the market has been particularly quiet since February began, with buyers only purchasing for their immediate needs.
Covid-19 restrictions and falling values of scrap are contributing to the current uncertainty. Compared to the high points of January, domestic rebar has lost €30/tonne ($36).
