French rebar demand, prices climb
French rebar contract prices continue to climb, rising by €100/tonne ($109) on average compared to ten days ago.
Demand for rebar is considered very strong both on the domestic market and for exports to other northern European countries. In France, panic buying seems to be continuing and, after a slower February, clients want to make sure they are well stocked for the months to come.
