French plate prices rise on growing slab costs
French plate prices are increasing by €30/tonne ($34/t) as anticipated, according to distribution sources heard by Kallanish.
Prices for all flat products are also increasing in France and domestic demand for plate is considered good as producers appear to have full order books, market sources suggest.
