French plate prices hike
French plate prices are increasing by €30/tonne ($33/t) month-on-month, distributors in the country tell Kallanish.
Mills’ prices are now at €520-530/t ex-works for S275 and €20-25/t more for S355 quality. Domestic distributors’ prices for basic quality plate are in the €560-570/t delivered range, sources suggest.
