Market foresees hike for French plate prices
French plate prices are seen increasing in the coming days, distribution and production sources tell Kallanish.
Domestic prices for lower grade S275 plate were at €580/tonne ($647/t) base ex-works on average in April. These are now between €550-570/t delivered with the higher grade attracting €20/t more, sources reveal.
