French crude steel production recovers in 2017
French crude steel production increased by 1.3% year-on-year in June to 1,325 million tonnes from 1,308mt in June 2016, Kallanish learns from data released by the World Steel Association. Over the first six months of 2017 output also increased considerably by 9.6% y-o-y to 7.917mt.
