French steel output tumbles again
French crude steel production fell again year-on-year in August after a strong decline in the first seven months of the year, Kallanish learns from data released by the Federation Française de l’Acier (FFA).
Crude steel output declined by as much as -31.1% y-o-y in August to 723,000 tonnes. This is down from 1,049,000t in August 2019, the association says.
