French crude steel output falls again
French crude steel production plunged again year-on-year in May after a strong decline in March and April, Kallanish learns from data released by the Federation Française de l’Acier (FFA).
Crude steel output declined by as much as -36.7% y-o-y in May to 783,000 tonnes. This is down from 1,236,000t in May 2019, the association says.
