French, Benelux scrap prices decrease in August
French and Benelux scrap prices are decreasing this month by €10-25/tonne ($11-29) compared to July. Sales volumes however are reduced as mills, particularly in France, will implement maintenance stoppages while the country goes on holiday for the seasonal August break, sources tell Kallanish.
