French and Italian tube discounts increase
Tube prices in Italy and France are beginning to slide slightly despite attempts by some re-rollers to decrease their discounts further this month compared to May.
“So far there has been a relative stability in terms of volumes and prices, but the market is now slowing down as a consequence of the international price slide of raw materials and hot rolled coil,” an Italian distributor says.
