Chinese stainless producers arrange June/July plant maintenance
According to local market sources, Chengde New Materials in Foshan city in China's Guangdong province has decided to halt production to carry out maintenance, Kallanish notes. It joins several other stainless producers who have also arranged downtime in June/July.
Chengde's downtime is planned to start in July for ten days. It is estimated that output of 20,000 tonnes of 200 series stainless cold rolled products will be affected.…
