Ha Tinh domestic HRC price hike exceeds expectations
Vietnam’s Formosa Ha Tinh Steel has announced its new list prices for hot rolled coil for August shipments. The company raised its HRC prices by $25/tonne, Kallanish notes.
Formosa’s latest list price for hot rolled band without skin pass is $450/t cif Vietnam, and for re-rolling HRC with skin pass at $455/t cif. The mill’s price for pipemaking coil and SS400 HRC is $450/t cif.
