Former Volkswagen Russia plant restarts production, localises components
Volkswagen’s former Russia plant in Kaluga, which now belongs to the Russian AGR automotive group, along with the former Hyundai site in St. Petersburg, restarted production on Monday, deputy governor of the Kaluga region Vladimir Popov told state television.
The company plans to assemble 27,000 cars by the end of the year, Kallanish notes.
