Former Mercedes-Benz Russia plant eyes mid-2023 restart
The Mercedes-Benz plant near Moscow, which was previously sold to the Russian Avtodom dealer holding, may resume work in mid-2023, Avtodom St. Petersburg regional director Evgeny Voitenkov said at the opening of the Aurus Avtodom showroom in the city.
According to him, the company will produce a premium car. “Currently, the company is negotiating with several foreign automakers at once, but I cannot disclose their names,” he added.
