Former Gerdau India unit becomes Arjas Steel

The producer formerly known as Gerdau Steel India has been renamed to Arjas Steel, Kallanish learns. The firm has a 300,000 tonnes/year capacity special steel long products mill in Tadipatri, southern India. Its products include pig iron, billet, square and round bar, flat bar and bright bar.
