ArcelorMittal declares force majeure at Duisburg
In the wake of the supply shortage at thyssenkrupp Steel, ArcelorMittal also has declared force majeure for its Duisburg – Ruhrort mill in Germany. This is due to very low water levels that make the Rhine river difficult to use for shipping steel industry products.
