Fire hits NLMK Louviere
A fire hit NLMK’s rolling mill in Louviere, Belgium on Wednesday morning. Local authorities extinguished the fire rapidly, but a cloud of smoke forced a shutdown of the local area, Kallanish learns from local sources.
The fire is understood to have started in a cooling area of the plant. Further information on the potential impact on production at the mill is yet to be issued by the company. It could not be contacted for comment before deadline.
