Fire damages Acindar scrap yard
Argentina-based long product steelmaker Acindar was impacted on 29 November by a fire at the scrap yard at its Villa Constitución plant. Acindar is part of ArcelorMittal and one of the largest steelmakers in Argentina.
Firefighters extinguished the fire after two days of intense work, and it remains uncertain what the impact will be on production.
