Fire breaks out in Tsingshan Indonesian nickel plant
PT Indonesia Weda Bay Industrial Park (IWIP), a subsidiary of China's Tsingshan Group in Indonesia, said on Wednesday that a fire broke out at its nickel smelter on Halmahera Island. The fire injured six workers, and the company has suspended a nickel smelting plant, Kallanish notes.
